Message from Fr. Barry:

Dear Parishioners:

The most frequent question coming into the parish is about where and when they can watch a TV Mass on these next Sundays.

I am a FiOs customer at the rectory. These are the channels on my system.  I have one non cable TV and a cable TV with FiOS.

For Cable on my FiOS

WGN America [68 on FiOS] has an 8:00 am Mass

EWTN [285 on FiOS] has an 8:00 am and repeats at 12:00 pm. It also is an hour long program; the others are half-hour ones. EWTN TV telecasts Daily Mass M-S (multiple showings).

WMDE [502 on FiOS] has an 8:00 am mass. Plus Fox 5 plus at 6:30 am [6:00 am on FiOS] shows the same.
The above is what is available to me, as a FIOS customer (or watching non-cable style)
====================================
I think there are other options, and you can find out via the Internet.  I know that Notre Dame has a Mass I have watched online before.  The Heart of the Nation app/internet shows Mass online, too, as well as have affiliates across America.
The EWTN app also affords phone or internet watching of Mass.

Thanks,
Fr. B

PS: Our office is closed, but if you need me, I can be reached urgently on the emergency Line (on the phone system) or you can email me.

Adoration, Confession,
and Happy Mother’s Day

Father Barry is pleased to announce that for the entire month of May (every Friday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm) there will be Adoration with Benediction at the conclusion in the parking lot (Greencastle Road side of church).  During Adoration, parishioners will also have an opportunity to visit with a member of clergy for drive-up Confessions.  Please see the Resurrection web site for more information (also for Masses and the Daily Word).

As Mother’s Day is upon us, Father Barry wishes all of Resurrection’s mothers, grandmothers, aunts, expected mothers, godmothers, step-mothers and all of those who are a mother role – a very Happy Mother’s Day!

The Msgr. John R. Pennington Knights of Columbus Council 9808 have a special Mother’s Day message in the link below.  Please also share it with those special mother’s in your life.

Please continue to love, pray, support each other, and remain healthy.
May the Lord Bless you
and your loved ones.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel, to the right as you enter the main chapel, is open 24 hours a day for your adoration.

MAKE WISE DECISIONS FOR YOURSELF

Make wise decisions about what is best regarding your own health and that of others.  Holding hands for the Our Father, sharing a Sign of Peace and receiving the Holy Communion from the chalice are three occasions for your health consideration. This is a good time to remind residents of your physical well-being at Mass.  Please sit if you feel unstable or weary. Remain alert to your surroundings so accidents do not happen. Remove a jacket or bring a sweater to accommodate the temperature of the Chapel. Everyone’s personal comfort level is different.
