Let’s Talk

What Are We?

The group is a totally resident-run discussion and support group in which participants are free to bring up any issues and offer suggestions and support to each other. While nothing is “off the table,” the focus tends to be on the personal challenges associated with building relationships and adjusting to a new environment and a communal style of living at Riderwood. Some of the issues have resulted in formal suggestions to RAC and the administration for procedural improvements and others have led to more volunteer opportunities for welcoming new residents and helping others.

Meets:

On the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings of each month from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the Montgomery Station Classroom – unless the day falls on a holiday and there is no meeting.

Only One Groundrule:

All are welcome, but strict confidentiality is required with respect to non-disclosure of any participants’ names who are associated with any issues or any information about issues that could be traced to an individual.
